Dog & Cat Overnight Boarding

Cat Resting

Our overnight boarding is charged on a per night basis. It doesn't matter what time you drop off or pick up; when boarding runs through the night is when the charge is incurred. All of our kennels are stainless steel sided. The canine run is our free standing kennel that has a grated floor bottom so that if your dog spills anything or has an accident they are not laying in it through the night. Our canine runs are ideal for our puppy boarders to help maintain potty training for home. The cat condos are an open space kennel with two story cubbies; ideal for cats to hide in and jump around. While boarding with us, all boarders receive clean kennels, bowls, daily bedding changes. All dogs receive a minimum of 3 one on one walks outside for potty breaks. For an additional fee, you can also opt for one on one playtime or group play sessions during your dog's stays with us. For cat boarders, we scoop litter boxes twice daily and provide them with one on one attention. In our canine and feline boarding rooms there is TV with relaxing music and nature scenes playing for the boarders to enjoy. Our staff is experienced to administer all kinds of medications including insulin. All medication administration is subject to an additional fee.

  • Small Kennel $30

  • Medium Kennel $33

  • Large Kennel $35

  • XL Kennel $40

  • Canine Run $45

  • Cat Condo $32

Overnight Boarding Policy

outside of standard business hours or appointment times.

If any changes are needed for scheduled appointments, it is the owner's responsibility to contact as soon as possible as availability is not guaranteed.

WHAT IF I AM GOING TO BE LATE PICKING UP MY PET?

Please notify us as soon as possible if you know you are going to be late. You may be subject to a late fee or your pet may be boarded until the next business day with any applicable fees.

DO YOU HAVE DAYCARE ON THE WEEKENDS? HOLIDAYS?

No, we do not have daycare on the weekends or whenever we are closed to the public. However if your animal is boarding, they will still have the same attentive care and 1-on-1 walks we provide during the week and you also could opt for our 1-on-1 playtime or additional walks for an additional fee.

DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION FOR DAYCARE AND/OR BOARDING?

For both boarding and daycare we highly recommend you make a reservation, however we do accept same day reservations for those that have stayed with us before, provided we have vacancies and proof of current vaccines. For new clients, we require the necessary forms, up to date vaccine record, and a preliminary evaluation before boarding/daycare. We recommend making reservations for holidays and summer vacations early in advance as we are small and have limited available space. Holiday reservations are pre-paid at the time of confirmed reservation. We do have limited openings for daycare so please reserve ahead! Call or email us to set up a reservation. We operate at a low staff to dog ratio to provide the highest level of safety and quality for all the dogs in our daycare so although we do accept same day drop off for daycare, we cannot guarantee space will be available without a reservation.

DOES MY DOG HAVE TO HAVE A TRIAL DAY?

Yes, we conduct temperament tests on all of our daycare dogs to make sure they are compatible with other dogs and most importantly, that they enjoy themselves! Our temperament tests are a half day and free of charge. Please call or email us to schedule a trial day for your dog. If you are a new client to our daycare and boarding, please be sure to download and complete the registration and release forms from our website or allow 15 minutes at drop off to fill out paperwork.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IF MY DOG GETS IN A FIGHT?

If your dog does not get along with the other dogs in the daycare group, we will kennel your dog in our boarding area until pickup and inform you of the issue. If injury results from an altercation, we have them evaluated and if necessary given care by PetSound Animal Hospital and you will be notified as soon as possible. All precautions are taken to prevent this rare occurrence; however PetSound is not liable for any injury to or resulting from attending doggie daycare.

WHAT ARE THE MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS MY DOGS NEEDS TO MEET TO ATTEND DAYCARE AND BOARDING?

Your dog must be current on their rabies, DHLPP, bordetella vaccine and fecal parasite test. If he/she is over a year old, your dog must also be spayed or neutered to attend daycare. Heartworm test is not required but highly recommended for the area after 1 year of age. Please scan or send a picture of any necessary records to us at petsoundddc@gmail.com

CAN MY DOG ATTEND DOG DAYCARE WHILE HE/SHE IS BOARDING?

Absolutely! We offer dog daycare for socialization and exercise to our boarders at almost half the rate of our regular daycare price. Your dog can play every week day from 7:30am-noon and 2:00 pm- 5:30pm. Half days and full days are both options for our boarders and the daycare staff will work with you and your dog to provide the most enjoyable experience possible.

Your cat must be current on their rabies and  FVRCPP. Please scan or send a picture of any necessary records to us at petsoundddc@gmail.com
